As well as super-high levels of performance, the Traxxas Revo 3.3 also offers the convenience of one-handed operation with complete on-board, push-button electric starting (the Traxxas EZ-Start system that lights your glow plug and starts the engine quick and smooth with the push of a button).
Life Suddenly Got Less Boring
New and improved, the new Traxxas Revo 3.3 ups the ante from it’s predecessor the Revo 2.5 (with the TRX 2.5 racing engine). This new monster truck model has a 50% increase in overall horsepower under the curve and a 60% increase in peak horsepower. Hailed for creating a whole new level of power and speed, RC Car Action magazine calls the TRX 2.5, “the most powerful small block engine [they've] ever tested.” There is definitely a degree of reflexes and handling required to keep her steady at extreme speed and acceleration.

As well as a massive increase in torque, this updated Revo also has an additional 30 mm of chassis length to provide additional support around the engine mount. This longer wheelbase is combined with installed progressive 2 suspension rockers to stabilize the vehicle. This stability along with the tough mud tires that come with Traxxas models are what you need if you want to put the pedal to the metal on even the roughest sections of track and terrain.
As well as super-high levels of performance, the Traxxas Revo 3.3 also offers the convenience of one-handed operation with complete on-board, push-button electric starting (the Traxxas EZ-Start system that lights your glow plug and starts the engine quick and smooth with the push of a button).
The Revo transmission also offers forward/reverse operation in two speeds. Because of the OptiDrive electronic shift module system, the new nitro Revo allows for a lighter transmission with better handling.

If you’re a hardcore and want to customize, the Revo allows for that too. It’s been designed to use the new Traxxas Revo center differential and rear brake kit (sold separately) if you’re looking to upgrade with some additional RC car parts.
Fairly low maintenance, the Revo 3.3 requires 20% Nitro fuel, 8 double A batteries for the radio, and a 7.2v battery to power the EZ-Start system. The supercharger 5-cell NiMH rechargeable battery pack that comes with the Revo 3.3 is another aspect of the Revo 3.3 that simplifies life and handling for the RC truck racer. The powerful twin RC servos lighten and compact the battery unit, improving handling, which is often an issue with RC trucks. Plus, Charging this RC truck is as easy as plugging it in, and only takes about an hour.
